Busy First Christmas

The excitement surrounding the Christmas holiday was doubled this year for our family of three! :) Decorating the house between naps and meal times was a tad bit difficult and needless to say we did not host our annual Christmas party but were so blessed with lots of family time. Our Christmas celebrations started Christmas Eve and we stayed the night with my mom and Sheyann. I had a glimpse into my Christmas Eve future when mom opened the box of a play kitchen for Sheyann and saw all the little plastic pieces that needed to be assembled before Christmas morning. Why we waited until 11:30 at night to start is beyond me! Kyle was smart and at the sight of all that allemply required...he headed to bed!!! Thanks to coffee and brownies we made it through and the kitchen was complete by morning! Thanks Mom and Twink for a wonderful Christmas morning...so fun to be with you guys!

Around noon we headed to Kyle's parents house for more fun and family. Controlled chaos is the best way to describe the excitement at the Baileys on Christmas morning and never a dull moment! As he often does Tristan slept through most of the excitement...Thanks Grandpa Paul for holding him most of the day! Thank you everyone for all of our wonderful gifts! Grateful that Uncle Paul got the gift that Gavin wrapped complete with a personal ornament on top! :) Somehow our camera didn't make it out amongst all the excited...Kerry I would love some pictures from Christmas at your house!!! Sorry! ;(

Our Christmas travels are still not complete! The 27th we headed on our longest road trip yet over to my Dads in eastern washington. Aside from one stop for some nourishment..Tristan slept the entire way. Jessi, Geno and Gavin stayed an extra day just so we could all be together! Tristan met his other Great Grandma Joy while we were there. He is so blessed with so many that love him! I discovered that one of Kyles hidden talents is apparently.....SCRABBLE! Going into it thinking I would kick his butt he beat Jessi Geno and I in a competetive game of scrabble! Good job honey! His luck was not so good the second day when Dad beat both of us! So good to see Jane was doing so good and getting healthier by the day!!! We even got some snow while we were there!!!

With lots of added miles and memories our first Christmas as a family of three was fantastic!
